Epoxy Injection
Epoxy injection is used to repair cracks in the concrete of structures where the foundation repair issues have already been resolved. This type of repair can be used on a variety of structures, such as, slabs, columns, beams, and supports. However, at Champion this is our primary method for repairing pools with drainage problems. It helps by curing to the structure and restores it by “binding” with the concrete. Once it has cured it helps the structure in four ways. First it makes the structure stronger. Second, it stops water from further penetrating the structure. Third, it provides additional strength. Finally, it helps prevent further damage. The Epoxy injection is flexible, allowing for the natural movement of the structure and should never crack as it is stronger than the concrete itself, since it has now bonded.
